Wellby Insights was founded to close a gap we kept seeing: parents want to do the right thing for their child's health — but the information they get is often contradictory, commercial, or poorly supported by science.
At Wellby, we start from a different place. Our work is based on decades of research in pediatric immunology and immune–microbe interactions, including large longitudinal studies of infants and children. This research shows that how the immune system develops early in life matters — and these patterns can be measured.

Petter Brodin, M.D., Ph.D.
Garfield Weston Chair and Professor of Pediatric Immunology at Imperial College London and Karolinska Institutet
Petter leads two research teams studying the human immune system, with a particular focus on early-life immune development and the role of the gut microbiome in children. He combines clinical work at Karolinska University Hospital with cutting-edge research in systems immunology, developing experimental and computational tools to understand immune variation and support precision medicine in pediatrics.
Anna Karin Bernhardsson, M.D., M.Sc.
Study Coordinator and Pediatric Nurse
Anna Karin has dual Master's degrees in Global Health and Pediatric Nursing. She focuses on child health and immune development and brings hands-on clinical expertise to research projects, coordinating studies that link infant gut microbiota with immune outcomes.
Aron Arzoomand, M.D., Ph.D. (c.)
Physician and PhD Student
Aron is a physician and PhD student focusing on early-life immune development and microbiome interactions. His research investigates how specific gut microbes, such as Bifidobacterium infantis, influence the developing immune system in newborns, modulating T cell responses and systemic inflammation. At Wellby, Aron applies his expertise in immunology and translational research to develop cutting-edge stool-based tests that provide actionable insights into infant immune health.
Nyanja Brodin
Analyst at XO Capital, Co-founder
Nyanja is an analyst at XO Capital and co-founder of multiple ventures including Brodin Consultancy AB and Cytodelics AB. She combines analytical rigor with entrepreneurial experience, supporting Wellby with strategic insights and operational oversight.
Frank Remijn

Frank is founder of Wellby Insights AB and leads the company's operational strategy, business planning, and execution. With extensive experience as a Delivery Lead at Klarna, he has successfully orchestrated large-scale software development projects, driving cross-functional teams to deliver innovative financial solutions and digital products. Frank combines strategic vision with hands-on project management, ensuring that scientific insights are translated into actionable products and services that support families and promote healthy child development.
